The majority of the plantations and town houses are privately owned and graciously shared with the Episcopal Church Women of Prince George, Winyah, Parish once a year. A different group of homes is on tour each day.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;As part of the tour of pre-Revolutionary and antebellum churches, town houses and plantations, visitors are invited to the Winyah Indigo Society Hall for tea each afternoon. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;Home baked goods, local art from the Georgetown Watercolor Society, and books from the Georgetown Historical Society will be available for sale in the Parish Hall.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;We also offer &lt;a href="http://www.pgwinyah.com/mmm.htm"&gt;Midday Musical Moments&lt;/a&gt; on the Friday and Saturday, at noon for about 30 minutes in Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church, featuring guest soloists and our music director. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;Houses will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Please allow a full day for each day&amp;#39;s tour. Histories and maps showing the routes for the day are provided with tickets. Hosts and hostess will be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the houses that are open. Visitors provide their own transportation. Only cars and vans are allowed on the tours because of the many low-hanging oak limbs and soft roadbeds. NO BUSES, please.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;All Visitors are requested to wear low heeled shoes for their own comfort, as well, as for the protection of the old floors and rugs. You are also reminded that no photographs may be taken inside homes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h2 align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;SALE OF TICKETS&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;In consideration of the homeowners, only a limited number of tickets will be sold for each day; therefore, advance ticket orders are highly recommended.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;Advance tickets are available by mail only. beginning on Monday, January 31, 2011 (any order received before that date will be returned) Advance ticket sales will end on Friday, March 11, 2011.&amp;nbsp; Due to the time it takes to process the orders and return them by mail, ANY ORDERS POSTMARKED AFTER FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 2011 WILL BE RETURNED.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;If available&lt;/strong&gt;, tickets will be sold at the Parish Hall on the day of the tour beginning at 9:00 a.m.&amp;nbsp; Two day tickets will also be sold at the Parish Hall on a first-come basis.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;The price for tickets is $35.00 for either a Friday or a Saturday ticket.&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;Please specify day desired when ordering tickets.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/strong&gt;Two-day tickets are available for $60.00.&amp;nbsp; Please add $2.00 to order for postage and handling.&amp;nbsp; Only personal checks for the full amount will be accepted, and must accompany the order.&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;Please make check payable to &amp;quot;Plantation Tours&amp;quot;.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="tabletext"&gt;Bag lunches will be available for purchase at the Parish Hall on tour days.&amp;nbsp; Due to the rapid sale of lunches, they may be ordered by pre-paying at the time advance tour tickets are purchased.&amp;nbsp; Please specify the number of lunches, as well as, the day you desire your lunch, and remit $5.00 per lunch.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center" class="tabletext" style="text-align:center;margin-bottom:0pt;"&gt;Address ticket and lunch requests to:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center" class="tabletext" style="text-align:center;margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;Mrs.&amp;nbsp;Lee B. The state&amp;#39;s Drought Response Committee met Wednesday and decided the drought is over in 27 of South Carolina&amp;#39;s 46 counties and Georgetown County is one of the.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Say what you will about the wet but the flora is in bloom and that&amp;rsquo;s what keeps us beautiful!
