Wow, I started showing Waterway Palms Plantation and I'm in awe of its beauty! Waterway Palms sits along the Intracoastal Waterway just past The Bluffs, yet another magnificient community! The club house will knock your socks off! Everything you need...deep water, pool, tennis courts, club house amenities sidewalks and streets! Now is the time to steal a piece of property along the intracoastal! It is amazing to me the waterfront opportunities here in the Grand Dunes, Waterway Palms, The Bluffs and to the south closer to Charleston, beautiful South Island Plantation, The Oaks at Winyah Bay, Craven's Grant!!! Wow, pick one and grab it while the prices are so low, like ripe fruit! I love living here...a boater's mecca at the beach! Life just doesn't get any better than this! Have a great week!

The beaches of Pawleys IslandPawleys Island, South Carolina, located 68 miles north of Charleston and 24 miles south of Myrtle Beach, is known as one of the oldest summer resorts here on the East Coast.
Rice and Indigo plantations on the nearby rivers of Georgetown County first settled Pawleys Island in the early 1700's. Since it was unhealthy to remain on the rivers during the summer months and that the seashore was much healthier, planter's and their families moved there for the hot summer months. Even though they didn't know about malaria in the 1700's, they knew enough to get away! They moved their families, horses, cows, bedding, provisions and furniture to Pawleys in May of each year, where they remained until the first frost in November! Pawleys Island, located on the south end of The Grand Strand is often referred to as, "the quiet end". Mostly residential but boasting of great restaurants, golf, shopping, tennis, bike trails, rivers and lots of great fishing. From the rivers to the sea, Pawleys Island has all you could ever hope for...Come live at the beach and ALWAYS be on Vacation!
