If you don't trust your real estate agent, find one that you will! (ME!) Let them know who you are, what you consider to be your ideal home, what you enjoy doing in your spare time, if you have any children, pets, elderly parents, or distant relatives who just came to visit eight years ago and are still here. The more you share, the better. I find that a half hour interview before the research even begins is worth a thousand hours and hundreds of house visits. Once you are sure and can trust that your Realtor knows you and what you want, you can rest assured that they will do right by you and work with the inventory that suits you and is as close to your ideal home as can be without going over your budget! Be realistic. Know the market and your Realtor before you come! Life is great here at the beach. Come live at the beach and always be on vacation!
