Pawleys Island is often misspelled. We see it as Pauley Island, Pauleys Island and Pawley Island but the True Blue spelling is Pawleys Island. The same is true for Murrells Inlet. We see it spelled as Murrles Inlet and Merrill Inlet and even Mueral Inlet. Our gated communities include Heritage Plantation, The Reserve, Willbrook Plantation, Litchfield Plantation, Litchfield by the Sea, Debordieu and Pawleys Plantation. , Litchfield Country Club and North Litchfield Beach are quiet and exclusive.
